Regarding your questions
- "If I build a structure with this program will it generate a build plan for me?" Depending what are you (or your Building department) calling a build plan. Floorplan? framing plan?
- "Will it tell me how many 2x4s, sheets of drywall & plywood etc that i will need" You can set the options in the framing editor and after this, you can run the Estimator and you'll get a spreadsheet with the estimated quantities of materials (see attached image)
- "and where i need to put them?" absolutely not, because this is a professional work . Please, check at my site the article "Do I need an Architect?"
