Hi Donald R. Oller, It is not an installation problem. AS 4000 has only one folder with 2D symbols. You can create additional folders--> 2D symbols--> Symbols--> symbols organizer You can create additional symbols--> Power Tools--> Symbol Editor You can download free CAD symbols ready to use in Punch in this page of my website http://www.punchhelpers.com/cad_symbols.htmlAnd... I heard some gossip ;-) about new Punch libraries of 2D objects for a new release.... Patricia |

I am working on a parcel that is 400' x 1400' & I would like to work on the entire site locating building etc. How can I remove or alter the maximum 1000' lot size default size? Also how do I work at another scale other than the 1/8", 1/4" etc.scales. I would like to work at 1' = 50' or some other similar engineers scale for the lot design.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Bill Laubscher,
1000x1000 is the max size for Punch's work space.
Regarding the scales, I never heard of the 1'=50'. These are Punch's scales in the English system 1/8"=1'-0"-------> 1:96 -------> 1:(12/0,125) 1/4"=1'-0"-------> 1:48 -------> 1:(12/0,250) 1/2"=1'-0"-------> 1:24 -------> 1:(12/0,500) 1 " =1'-0"-------> 1:12 -------> 1:(12/1,000)
However, if you wish to use 1cm= 50 cm , you can switch to the Metric system (Design--> Unit of measure--> Metric
Hope this helps

SINCE THE LOT SIZE MAX IS 1000' THEN I WILL JUST "MOVE ENTIRE PLAN" FUNCTION. REGARDING SCALE - A MISS TYPE, IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN 1" = 50'-0" THE RESPONSE ABOUT USING METRIC AT 1CM = 48CM WAS HELPFUL. THANKS
