I am using AS4000 and I laid-out the design of my existing house before using the site planner to put in my actual lot coordinates. Even when I begin with a new layout, though, the outline generated from the site planner does not align with the lot size. I can resize the lot, but I can't make it fit with the site plan or even rotate the lot to align with my site plan. Also, I see no way to define where I actually want to put my house in all of this. I'm sure it's something I'm missing. Can someone shed light on this? thanks for any feedback!

Hi Xtal,

Regarding your question about moving the lot or the house, with AS 4000 you have several options
1 - Design--> Move (or flip or rotate) the entire plan. This will move the whole design, including the property line, so you can delete the PL temporarily and add it later
2 - You can work with layers. If you have the PL in the landscape plan--> go to the landscape plan--> unselect the floor tab--> edit--> select all--> use the arrow keys to move the PL

Regarding where to insert the house in the lot: first you must check with your building department the setbacks and conditions for your lot, then you must consider sun expositions, winds, etc

Hope this helps
