Hi ibddude

From the Punch help files

By default, measurements are from wall surface to wall surface; to measure walls "on center" follow these steps.

On the Standard toolbar, click the Selection Tool.
Click a wall to select it; the Wall Properties bar is displayed.
Click the radio button next to Centers.

Hope this helps

I just updgraded to AS4000 from Pro Home Design. Lot Size was under the design menu (Ctrl-L) in Pro Home Design. Now it seems to be in the Topo tool. Once lot size is set there, how can it and the building pad be inherited in the Foundation or Floor Plans? Also, is there a way to set the lot size without using the Topo Tool? Thanks, Naz

Hi Naz,

The only way to define the lot size in AS 4000 is using the Topo tool.

After you define the lot dims, Save As--> (this will create a PTO file)--> close the Topo designer--> update info--> yes

Hope this helps

Sorry if I missed this in some other post...Does anyone know how the wall-spacing dimension tool works in Punch! Professional Home Design Platinum 8? I've tried every conceivable combination, sequence, and permutation of mouse clicks and drags, but nothing works. I click the tool, get a cross-hair cursor, then when I try to click on a wall section, I get a message "Please click and drag on a wall section to place a dimension." The zero-offset dimension tool works fine.

I read your other post, so, as you asked, I disregard this post because you solved the problem, right?
