Hi carriedwards,

The conversion process is line by line or shape by shape (see images attached. They are from Platinum but you version follows the same rules)
You can't use the lasso to select the lines / shapes

Also, try these additional resources
1 - Remember to import one level each time, and avoid all the items you can't convert--> electrical, plumbings or HVAC elements, plants or topography elements, etc
2 - If you are going to import the first level, for example, be sure to import it in the Punch's first level, the second in the second, etc
3 - Before you start, move each line /shape to the respective tab (Edit--> Move to plan). For example, move the walls to the floor tab, the decks to the deck tab, etc)--> in this way, you can visualize the different elements
4 - If you have different elements in the same tab--> select the line / shape--> properties bar--> bring to front or send to back in order to set the priorities of your work

I am having problems, once downloaded, recreating the piece of furniture that I have downloaded. Once the object is downloaded, I have an unassembled wire version of the, for instance, sofa I am trying to recreate. How do I get the pillows on the sofa? The colors etc are no problem. It's just that first step that is confusing and confounding.

Aline,

As I wrote in my e-mail, you didn't import all the layers of your 3DS object (the object I received was not complete) and in addition, after you import the 3DS object, you should scale it. For example, the sofa you sent me was with 1"
Perhaps other users can provide other ideas?
