Hi GeorgeR,

You can build a barn style roof using freehand roofs, with or without a combination with the gable roof

First, divide the front and back walls in 3 segments: the central section will be a gable wall with pitch 5:12 (don't forget to click enter after you change the wall pitch!!). The the right and left wall sections will be pitched walls with 24:12 (again, don't forget to click enter after you change the wall pitch!!).
Second, go to the roofing tab--> place a gable roof covering exactly your gable wall--> select this roof--> in the custom pitch box (properties bar, right of the screen) set the pitch as 5:12(again, don't forget to click enter after you change the roof pitch!!)--> set the roof elevation
Third: with the help of the freehand tool (7th icon in the roofing tab) or the 4 points freehand roof (wall assisted) (8th icon) place a rectangular roof on the left and right sections of your wall (the pitched walls)--> select these roofs--> in the custom pitch box (properties bar, right of the screen) set the pitch as 24:12--> yes, you can use any pitch you wish (again, don't forget to click enter after you change the roof pitch!!)--> adjust the roofs' elevation

Then, your roof is ready

Hope this helps
