Hi Lyle, Thanks for replying so fast... The brick wall is the second floor original brick wall. I put the dormer half on roof and half in front of second floor brick wall, on a shed-type roof at the base. The top of the back brick wall is what's showing through the window on the dormer... can't seem to fix it. Can I send you the file, so you can look at it? Then perhaps you'd have a fix for me. Thanks, jengrant

Hi Lyle, I was fooling around with the plan and I raised a wall on the second floor, it blocked the brick showing through. Don't know how I did it but it worked!! Thanks for your help. But now that I'm here, I have another question - how do I color walls on the second floor when the roof is in the way? I can't color them through windows - can I take the roof off temporarily somehow? Thanks

Hi jengrant,

Try this (Check the image attached)

Go to liveview--> In the liveview windows--> click on the "pencil icon"(last icon of the liveview menu)--> You can show / hide different elements in liveveview (landscape, roofs, etc)--> the 4th icon belongs to Roofs, so if you select this, the roofs will not appear in liveview. To show the roofs again, just check the icon again

Hope this helps

Hi Kyle, Thank you so much... I appreciate your help for all my newbie questions. I have one more (for now) - is there a chimney in Landscape Pro, if so, where do I find it? Or can you suggest a way for me to put a chimney up the side of a two story house - draw it? With what? A wall? I've never drawn anything in the program before, just got it a couple of days ago. Cheers, jengrant
