Hi D&LGreen,
Regarding your question about DXF import:
You can't import DXF files with Punch Platinum. To do this you will need Punch AS 18 or AS 3000 or MLP.
With these versions, after you imported the DXF file, you just need to click in each line or shape and convert them into walls, stairs, etc.
However, with Punch Platinum, you can elaborate a BMP image with your DXF file, import it and trace your floorplan over the BMP file.

When I first display a live view (walk-through or helicopter) an ugly artifact appears in the picture on the screen. (a gray smear from the top of the roof to the top of the picture or a brown background outside windows in an interior view). This is caused to go away by a single click anywhere on the screen. The problem is that when printing a live view the artifact comes back in the printed version. Any suggestions?

I emailed the Punch Customer Svc to ask what the Elevation Editor does before I upgrade to V.8. No response yet. Can you provide a simple description/explanation of what I'll get from the Elevation Editor?
