Other work around. After you import the deck and still with all the elements of the deck selected, move the deck to other tab--> Edit--> Move to plan--> Landscape (for example)
Go to the selected tab. Near the name of the tab, you'll find a small arrow, click on it to uncheck other tabs. In this way the deck will be alone in the tab and you can move it easily.
in addition, I'd suggest to move the elements using the keyboard arrows
