I created my first plan, but when I went to view in 3d, it seemed like the bottom of everything was cut off. Then I realized that my entire floor is 12" off of the ground? All of my objects get placed on the ground, and my floor floats above them as if the entire house is flooded a foot deep. When I use the floor tool to place a floor, it too is placed beneath this floating floor. Where did I go wrong? How can I fix it on an existing plan?

Hi sdt2423
This is happening because, by default, Punch sets the first floor objects at the 0.00" elevation, and if you are using the Autofloor option (with thickness= 12"), you should elevate the objects (including interior walls) at 12". To this: 1 - Select the object --> Edit--> Set object elevation--> write the desired elevation
or
ceiling / object --> right click on the elevation slider--> write the desired elevation
or
3 - Select the object--> right click on the piece--> Set elevation--> write the desired elevation
If you prefer, select the exterior walls and unselect the Autofloor (preview bar--> right side of the screen)
Hope this helps
