Hi John McDaniel,

The cabinet wizard provides basic designs and of course, you can adjust the dims

Notice that the CW units are cabinets, so they are including the side walls (wood), insulation etc. Therefore, a dishwasher + cabinet is not= 24". I'd suggest to check the installation guides of the major manufacturers

If you need only the object you can check in your program--> Objects--> Kitchen--> Appliances
Or you can look for free objects at
http://forums.punchsoftware.com/WebX?14@@.fac4dbf

In addition all the cabinets can be resized / retouched / created with the 3D workshop

Check the images attached of the same cabinet

Hope this helps

If you only want to see glass grilled doors on your cabinets in 3D view, you might want to try using PhotoView. PhotoView allows you to import just about any 2D bitmap image and paste it into your plan. Your imported image will show up in the 3D view. I use this technique often to display kitchen appliances or paintings on the walls. Here’s how to do it: First create your cabinets (keep it plain and simple). Search on the internet for images of glass grilled doors (or something that looks like glass grilled doors) and save the file to your hard drive. Look for images that display the full front flat (2D) view. I do some cropping and touch-ups in Photo Shop to get only the part of the image I want to use. Now go back to your plan and click on PhotoView to import and resize the image. The image will show up only as a line on your plan since it is in 2D. Click on it and use the split screen in 3D view to help you guide the image exactly to where you want it to go. You may need to use the move, rotate and set object elevation function from the edit menu to get it perfectly into position. The idea is to paste it right on the front of your cabinet doors. In 3D view, it will look like the real thing. I use this technique by taking images from Sub-Zero, Viking and Wolf appliances to create my dream kitchen. I even have a Sub-Zero wine cooler with a glass door and filled with bottles of wine in my kitchen. You can create the same effect for your glass grilled cabinet doors.
