Hi again Westbrook,

Looks like you are adding a floor over the autofloor. To disable the autofloor--> select the exterior walls--> uncheck the autofloor option in the properties bar (right of the screen)
You can set the thickness of the manual floor selecting it and writing the desired thickness in the properties bar (right side of the screen)
As the floor are you described in your last post is not too large, you can create a 3/4" floor with the 3D workshop, and avoid the joist issue

To rotate the joists, select the entire piece of floor--> edit--> rotate--> arrange to fit the area

Hope this helps

Yup. Followed your advice. Worked like a charm. One thing, though. Now that I have my ceiling on top of my walls, how can I select it again, if I want to change its dimensions. If I try to click on the ceiling, the only things that get selected are the walls or doors, depending on where I click.

Hi Westbrook,

Glad to know it worked

As for the ceiling issue (you can use this method also with your manual floors)

Step 1: draw the ceiling / floor --> set the elevation--> keep the floor / ceiling selected--> Move to plan--> (floor, landscape, etc)
Step 2: Select different colors for each tab (Options --> screen colors)
Step 3: If you are working in / printing from the floor tab (or electrical, etc), you will see a small black arrow at the right of the name. By clicking the small arrow you have the option of viewing or hiding other tabs. Just check the names of the tabs you wish to show (where you moved the floors / ceilings). See the image attached.

Hope this helps
