I've a 3D rendering problem with Pro Platinum ver 10.5. I'm able to show one building but when I added another to the property it would not display. I checked my display options and I don't have a similar checkbox to what Jeff described.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi dsherman, I guess Jeff problem was different because he was not able to render and you are not able to visualize a part of your drawing If you have an ATI videocard, notice that ATI did big changes in the drivers (and the website address) http://ati.amd.com/So, first thing: update your drivers In addition, I'd suggest that you check 3 things: - Check the elevation of the "missing" building and confirm if it is the right elevation (sometimes you can't see the building because it is floating in the space) :-) - Verify if the 3D cut-away slider is activated. In the image I'm attaching, look at the left side of the image, if the slider shows a red line, is because you have the cutting off tool working and you are cutting a part of your lot. Just click and drag it down. - I don't know the characteristics of the second building, but just in case--> Go to your liveview window. On the toolbar you will find a pencil icon (or a menu at the right of the screen for older versions), click on it and you will see a menu of the elements appearing in the 3D view. Verify if the 3d objects are "crossed" as in the image attached. If so, uncheck it, and your elements will appear. (see attached) If all this fails, send me your file and I will check it Patricia [email protected] |
