Hi Stuartatlanta, Lines and polygons developed in the detail tab can be converted only to Punch intelligent objects, as you stated in your post. You can't copy and paste the polygons of the detail tab to a Power Tool (the 3D workshop in this case) However, there is a workaround (for versions 10 and 12)--> develop the polygon in the Detail tab--> copy this polygon in an empty Punch file--> Export the file to DWG or DXF--> Open the polygon with a CAD converter, or Autocad, etc--> Convert the *.DWG or *.DXF file to a *.3DS file--> Open the 3D Workshop Power Tool--> Import 3DS --> Set the textures, thickness and other parameters If you experience problems with the 3DS process, follow this tutorial at my website http://www.punchhelpers.com/3dsfiles.html Patricia |
