Hi Tom,
Not sure what Platinum version are you using? Platinum Version 4.5.1.? Version 8?, other version?

For example, the image attached was developed with Version 12 --> there are two track lights objects in the Ceiling lights category and I added light beams suing the lighting tools (Electrical tab)
