Hi Ken Daming,
To avoid this problem, try to join the walls (distance and length) using the arrows (keyboard) and avoid the mouse. If you join two walls using the mouse, they "glue" and become a wall set with identical properties
Hope this helps

OK - that helped. Now I have a sloped lot, with a walk out basement. What's the best way to create the basement floor? I've tried manually drawing the perimeter - then setting the floor thickness and the elevation, but the grass still shows up. I've also tried excavating the grass around the perimeter. Then the basement floor shows - but when I rotate in live view - the grass comes back!

Hi Ken Daming,
Actually, the grass appears because the walls are not joined The exacavation solution should be OK. Does the grass appear after you release the mouse? or is it a temporary issue during the movement stage?

It's only a temporary thing while I'm "flying". And if I just walk around, it's OK.

Hi Ken Daming,
So, this is normal.
Punch renders each element (grass, sky, etc) in each stage of the movement. So when you are moving the grass is rendered and only at the end of the fly-around (when you release the mouse) Punch does the final render with all the parameters, and the grass disappears
Hope this helps
