Some suggestions

1 - To apply a texture or color, be sure you are not trying to paint through a door or a window
2 - If you floor elevation is under 0.00, the Yellow Man elevation must be under 0.00 (double click on the Yellow man to set the elevation)
3 - If you can't texture any element of you plan, perform a search in this Forum with the words "Poison Pill"
4 - If the texture goes "to the sky"instead of the floor, check the video problems at Lyle's site www.thistlekeep.com

I checked the file above and I'd like to share a comment.
If you are designing a basement, and you use Autofloor + manual floor, note that the elevation of the manual floor must be above the top of the Autofloor

Hi, I want to change the flooring by pasting some pictures on it to show how the real marble floor will look like. I have the floor pictures with marble. Is it possible to paste those pictures on the floor? (like adding texture) I am using Platinum version 8. Thanks

One more ques. I have put some steps in one room to make a home theatre. When I see it in live view, I cannot get on those steps, therefore I cannot view the whole room from back. Is there any way for to overcome this? Thanks.

Hi ssl,

Floors in Punch can be textures an any other element. However, in Platinum you can't import your own textures. There is a work around replacing the textures

What do you mean by "I cannot get on those steps"? you can't see them? did you check the elevation?
Please explain your problem in detail and we'll help you
