In the EE the dims will disappear in 3 situations.
- If you rotate the building (the building is hiding the board with the dims)
- If you put the dims in the elevation and then you use the slider (because you'll be cutting the slice with the dims)
- Before you exit the EE, accept the changes, do the EE will save the info

If the above items don't solve the problem, check if your video card drives are updated
