In addition, you can elaborate a ceiling with the 3D workshop. For a cathedral ceiling, my favorite solution is to trace the roof's sloped lines in the back grid and extrude them. Patricia

I've been doing very well up to this point and have figured everything out, but I cannot quite get this roof thing. I wonder if you could elaborate a bit as I'm having trouble with the 3D workshop. Let's say I want a simple rectangular ceiling that slopes up at a rate of 2.2":12". Thanks, Phil

Hi Phil, Yes I can, but I am sure that RB will give you a better explanation. Regards, Patricia

This'll come in pretty handy with my HT. I live in a townhouse and the proposed "Movie Room" is actually my living room. It's a half cathedral and believe it or not, it starts at 8 feet and goes all the way up to 18 feet over 21 feet. Thanks for the help RB.
