Hi Mel Scott,
To draw irregular roofs with Punch Platinum, you can use the freehand roof tool (Roof tab--> 8th icon from the left). You can develop any shape with this tool
In addition if you have Platinum8, you can: - Use the Roof Wizard (Power tools--> Roof Wizard) - Draw the shape of your roof with the CAD tools (Detail tab)--> Convert to--> freehand roof
Hope this helps

How do I Create a Roof (Domed) in Punch Platinum (PP) that I can later add Skylights and their mounting Benches? The actual building will have several (4) domes adjacent to each other for the roof. Also can I create new skylight shapes (racetrack rounded cornered rectangle) in PP?

Hi jkuehn8, Punch doesn't have a curved roof tool (any version). The only workaround is a "domed roof object" elaborated with the 3D Workshop If you have a V10 or V12 version, you can add automatic skylights. However, they will be square or rectangular. A workaround for this--> create a roof cutout and add a 3D workshop skylight object Patricia |
