Hi Ron Kirkpatrick ,
You didn't inform the name / version of your Punch program. Anyway, check the following issues
1 - Confirm if you are drawing your first level using the Punch's first floor--> check the left / bottom corner (in the new versions you will read 1st floor or second floor or third floor. In the old versions you will see a small house with a number--> this is the floor number) --> If your first level is not the Punch's first floor--> Edit--> select all (confirm if all the layers are visible and selected)--> Edit--> move to floor --> Lower Floor 2 - In the left side of the screen is the elevation slider--> Right click on the slider and check the Working elevation--> if your working elevation is, for example 50', then all your walls will "float" at 50'--> If the elevation is wrong--> correct the elevation slider value as well as the elements' elevations 3 - If the above items are Ok, check the topography, building pads, etc
If the problem persists, send me your file and I will check it

For learning purposes: I just checked Ron's file and the issue was the working elevation--> this issue is very easy to solve, changing the elevation value
