Hi Ricardo
there are 3 aspects regarding this issue
- Program: the V10 program is very old (current version is V17.5) so perhaps some current drivers don't work with an old program.
- Video card: You have a video chip, integrated with the motherboard. As a general rule if you have an onboard video card you don't have dedicated video memory--> therefore as your processor is consuming resources for rendering calculations, you've low resources for graphic purposes, because they are shared resources. So, in this case, you can't see the rendered images.
What do you get between the 2 fade segments? a black screen?
- Animator settings: usually the animator issues are related with the settings of the animation tool, specifically with the Segment Length (time in seconds, first setting in the right bar) --> comparing this issue with a real life movie --> if you are recording a movie with a 10 ft path and you walk very fast (doing it in 5 seconds, for example) you will run and the movie will be "jumpy", but if you walk slowly, the camera will "flow"
Of course, as you increase the time for each segment, the rendering time will be higher
In the meantime, check this sample elaborated with the Animator. Notice that this movie was edited after Punch, to add music. As it is a big file, depending of your connection, it may take few minutes to load.
