I will need some information

1 - Are you using AS 18 or AS 3000?
2 - Are you trying to import 2D objects, 3D objects?
3 - Can you tell me the exact error message ?

I am trying to import a dxf file into my punch as3000 software. it is a 3d dxf file, and I see no where to click for importing even though the help menu shows there is this capability. This is one reason I bought the software?

Hi Michael,

In Punch AS 3000, you will find the DXF / DWG Importer tool with your Power Tools, as you can check in the attached image

However, notice that Punch imports only 2D DXF / DWG files. To help with the conversion, you can follow this tutorial at my site
