Hi jonjo,

IMO, the best solution is the old copy and paste :-)

- Save the main house with other name (say "myplan.PRO")
- Set the lot's dimensions (up to 1000' x 1000' in AS 4000 or 500'x 500'in other versions)
- Open the file of the guest house--> Check if all the tabs like floor, roof, etc are visible--> Check if you are in the first floor--> Edit--> Select All--> Edit--> Copy
- Go to "myplan.PRO"--> Check if you are in the first floor--> Edit--> Paste
- Move the plan to the desired location. Select the plan you imported and move it with the help of the arrows (keyboard) or Edit--> Move...
- Repeat the process for all the levels
- Repeat the process for the workshop

Greetings,
Copying & Pasting Floors from one file to another seems like the hard way. Floors never seem to line up right. Isn't their a better way to import a file into a plot plan with existing structures?

Hi haakenea,

notice that in the post above we are talking about two ore more structures in the same lot, and the user developed three separate files for estimating purposes. So, stack the structures is not a concern

Of course, if you have Punch AS 18 and up, you can use the DXF or DWG export / import option
