Hi...
I was adding materials while using the 3D cutaway in a kitchen.....It was very tedious to get the material in the correct location (countertops material would go the the sky backdrop, adding backsplash material would change the grass to granite...etc...)
So...when I go back and delete the 3D cutaway...the material goes to the correct location better (not with wainscoting though).
Any advice on how to get the material in the correct location each time without a million multiple tries...
I am using ASv20 in Split 2D/3D View with the 3D Cutaway active. Thanks! Kay

Hi Kay,
Although you can apply textures while you are using the 3D cutaway tool, my suggestion is that you apply the textures while you are using the walk-through tool (little man) and getting close to the element. Also, I'd suggest that you use the Smart Wand Tool in order to know where you are placing the materials and colors.
Hope this helps! |
