Hi,
I installed v20 and do not understand the concept of "Click once to place" documented p. 49 of the manual.
To draw using Click Once to Place ■ Position your cursor where you want the selection to be placed and click your left mouse button. The selection is placed at the location you click.
Fine but, which selection? If I select a 2D object from a library, I have to drag it onto my 2D sheet. Just clicking doesn't do anything.
Thanks for any clarification.

Hi there,
There is a big difference between inserting a component (as shown in page 49 of the User's Guide) and inserting a 2D element of the library (object).
Hope this helps. |

So, a component is a shape? A square, a circle, etc. Right ?

Hi there,
a component is an element generated with the program's building tools and they have special properties => for example: a window is a component.
I believe that you have my eBook:
If you have my V19 eBook, check about components (Special Objects - page 125)
If you have my V20 eBook, check about components (Special Objects - page 135) |
