Studying the
Landscape Tab, I learned about
Property Lines and
Survey Coordinates.
I can easily understand the
Azimuth concept, but I would be happy to know more on the
Bearing and
Relative concepts.
If some geographix expert could share some skills on that subject, I'd be very happy.
Thanks Buddies.
EDIT: Found this
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Absolute_bearing and that
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relative_bearing but it doesn't help that much to understand how to enter
Property Limits values.
EDIT 2: What I understand is that the "Coordinates" word in the Survey Coordinates window is not suitable, as data seem to be direction and length, not geographic coordinates (longitude, latitude, elevation). So, I suppose
Point__Azimuth____Length
0_____N90°0'0"___25000 mm
1_____N180°0'0"__15000 mm
2_____N270°0'0___25000 mm
3_____N0°0'0"____15000 mm
means: From starting point,
draw 90° from North (so, horizontal towards right of screen) on 25 meters, then
draw 180° from North (vertical downwards) on 15 m
draw 270° from North (horizontal leftwards) on 25 m
draw 0° from North (vertical upwards) on 15m
and I have my property line, right?
But what about
Bearing and
Relative?
Merci.
