Hello Patricia,

I recently bought Landscape Design 19, version 19.0.8. I can't find the tab to import a 2D .dwg file--which is actually my Delta CAD garden layout--so does Landscape design not have this facility?

Regards

Hi Nick,

OK, as per your instructions, I moved this topic to the Mac section Smile

Unfortunately, the Mac V19 programs don't import DWG / DXF files, as you can see in this chart

An option: you can create an image with your CAD file (jpg, png, etc) and trace it.

Alternatively, I can import the CAD file for you (for a small fee). Just let me know.

Hope this helps.

Hello Patricia,

That's very disappointing and though I have looked through the (Mac) list that you sent I cannot see where it doesn't mention that .dwg or .dxf files cannot be import. Punch really should make it clear before someone shells out $60 because they do say that you can upload them.

Tracing the image would take rather a while so how much would uploading the CAD file be? And how can I send it to you when I see that I cannot attach .dxf' or .dwg's to this e-mail!

Regards

Nick

Hi Nick,

The Punch Software Charts (Mac and Windows) show the features included with each program and OS, so you can choose the right program according with your necessities.
As you can see, the DWG import feature, is included only with the Window version.
As you know, I am not a Punch employee, so, if you have suggestions regarding features, etc, please contact Punch software.

Months ago, I asked to the programmers to include the DWG import in the next Mac Version.

Regarding your question about my fees, etc: I provide services through my website, so you can use the contact us page

Hope this helps.

Hi Luciana,

Landscape Design V19 for Mac doesn't import DWG files, however, it imports Sketchup object without problems.

You can follow this tutorial in my Facebook page and this tutorial in my website.

Hope this helps.
