I just upgraded from AS4000 to Architectural Series 20.0 I can not get surface textures to stick to a drawing created in AS4000. The textures work when I've got an object open in the 3D Custom Workshop. I also can not find the index of workshop programs that use to be on the right side of the AS4000 screen. Yes, I am struggling with 20.0 verses AS4000. Thanks

A two steps solution: 1 - Go to => Edit => Preferences => System => Graphics => Hardware Acceleration. By default, the level of the accelerations is "Full" => Move the control to the center and see if your issue is solved. If not, move the control to the left (None) => check if your issue is solved. 2 - Always important => update the drivers of your video card. Do you mean the Power Tools? => Go to => Design => Launch Power Tools => the Power Tools menu will open => Select the desired tool Keep in mind that several old Power Tools became tools of the program. For example, the old Cabinet Wizard became the Cabinet Tool (Floor Tab) Originally Posted by: Sickmeier, Greg Yes, I am struggling with 20.0 verses AS4000. Hello Patricia, Ok, lowering the Hardware Acceleration fixed the surface textures problem. Found the Power Tools, thanks! The program is crashing sometimes when trying to move the "little man" around a 3D view. Thankfully, the file recovery feature seams to work OK. Thanks for your quick response to my post, you rock! Thanks, Greg

I already have that version. I just purchased the 20.0 upgrade in March and now 21.0 comes out in June. Isn't that just dandy, eh! Thanks again for your help.

Hi there, You're welcome! I'd contact Punch! and ask about an upgrade: usually, they have special prices. |
