Hello. I'm using Landscape Design 20 (v. 20.0.1 for Mac).
I created a gable roof and added a gable connector. I would like to create a loft in the new gabled extension. My main problem is that the original gable roof is in the gable wing/gabled extension. How do I remove part of a roof?
Once the roof that is inside my room is removed, I will create a vaulted ceiling. Will Pat's ebook give me detailed instructions on how to do this? Additionally, I have not figured out how to add a chimney to the exterior of the house. Does the book cover this?
Thanks for your help. Karen

Hi Karen, Answering your questions about the program and my eBook for Mac V20: 1 - In order to create a gable roof + a gable connector you need to use a freehand roof. In this way, you will be able to add points. 2 - My eBook includes several tutorials about roofs, different models (21 different types), additions, etc. For example, check this image of my eBook with a gable roof and a connector. Connector.PNG (159kb) downloaded 8 time(s).3 - The Mac programs don't include any Chimney/ Fireplace Power Tool. In order to add a chimney, you can import a 3D object. 4 - My eBook includes a full chapter about importing 3D objects (starting at page 122). Hope this helps. |
