Is there a way to ensure the objects/points are perfectly aligned floor to floor, after they are created? I realize that creating something on one floor and copying it to another should produce the right result. But after that, when things have been moved around some, how can I ensure alignment?

I was thinking if I could discover the cartesian coordinates, it could be verified and adjusted manually, but that data doesn't seem to be available.

Neither the manual or the ebook address this issue, that I could find.

Thanks,
Dan

In the Mac version, you can set the alignment options using the Snap tools and AutoSnap.

Regarding the location: you will find this topic in the User guide (Page 60) and Pat's eBook (pages 154 and 156).

@Forum Host Thanks! I did see that, and its what I ended up using, which worked ok. I was just wondering if there was some thing specific to either getting the cartesian coordinates of a point, or identifying a point on one floor and telling punch to align it with a corresponding point on a different floor. But I can see how the latter could be quite complex.

Thanks for the reply
