Patricia, I have version 21.0.0.1011 for Windows 10. I have some older files that when I select Render Final in Photo Realistic mode, the program crashes. The 3D version crashes when the following informatin appears in the bottom of the screen: "Loading surfaces to ligthwindows 5% 28 s 378 M."
Can I send you a file for examining?
Thanks for

Hi Tom,

Go to => Edit => Preferences => System => Graphics => Hardware Acceleration. By default, the level of the accelerations is "Full" => Move the control to the center and see if your issue is solved. If not, move the control to the left (None) => check if your issue is solved.

If the tip above doesn't solve the problem, I'd recommend that you contact tech support so they can check the issues in your computer (software and hardware), OS settings, etc. as well as your system, limitations, etc. Unfortunately, I can't check these settings from my computer.

Hope this helps,

Particia, unfortunately this did not help. The problem only exists with files that were created from the same file several years ago.
There is probably a glitch in one of the original files that this series of drawings originated from. But I will contact Tech Support to see what they have to offer.
Thanks.

In my experience, this issue happens when the original file was developed and rendered with an old video card or old drivers, so the old drivers don't match the current programs' drivers.
Probably tech support can solve the issue.

Hope this helps,
