Architectural Series V21 - How do I draw 2 angled walls parallel? Can I set angled walls to snap to parallel?
I'm drawing a commercial building with angled corridors from a center section like spokes on a wheel.
Thank you.

There are different methods, but this is my favorite:
- Draw and select the angled wall => Go to the Modify Toolbar (bottom of the page) => use the "Duplicate" button (pointed with a red arrow in the image below) => the wall will be duplicated with the same angle.

Hope this helps.

Pat, Architectural Series V21 when I use the duplicate and add the spacing or the horizontal and vertical spacing distribution
The clear space is not what I enter. For instance I'm trying to separate two walls by 8' clear and the program makes it 7'-7-1/2" clear between the two 4-1/2" walls. So, it appears when I enter the gap spacing the program is measuring center to center of the walls. Is there a way to make the gap spacing the clear space wall surface to wall surface? Thanks!

Hi there,

Although I understand that this issue can be a problem in your case, I believe that the reference point for duplicated elements is the axis (in your case, the center of the wall). In the image below, you can see a duplicated stairway, with offset distance= 100"

I'd suggest that you add the wall thickness to the distance.

Hope this helps.
