I'm using V22. I'm trying to draw a pergola. I first started with walls, then I realized I just wanted some posts, some beams on the posts, and some (shed roof) rafters on the beams. After I figured out that you don't use joists as roof rafters, I tried to put a four point freehand roof on top of my beams. I get an error msg that I need to put a roof on top of wall segments. Is there a way to just put rafters on top of open posts and beams that don't have any walls? Do I need to have walls and then make them not show?
