I have created gable/Saltbox walls at the end of my garage and when i go to do the automatic roof build it won't generate a roof that takes those walls into consideration. Is there a way, or trick to get the automatic roof build to recognize them?

Hi there,

If you have gable walls, the auto-roof will create a gable roof, as you can see in the image below.

Gable roof auto.JPG (53kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

However, for some situations (such as too close walls, very irregular walls, etc.) I'd recommend that you create your roof using the Freehand Roof tool.
