Punch! Home Design & Landscape Professional V22 working on PC with Windows 10

Hello,
There seems to be an issue with the plant scaling with my software. Attached is an example between the black oak versus the buckeye tree at 5 years. The buckeye tree is so tiny. The same is reflected on the plant growth.

There is a similar issue with the ornamental grass like any of the blue fescue's. Changing the plant age or plant growth did not change the fescue size.

I would think that the plant scaling and plant growth is setup the same globally in the software but above are the two examples I have encountered so far.

Any feedback on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi there,

Punch Software is sold in different countries and climates, therefore, the plants' details such as size and annual grow rate are just an average. Of course, all this information can be customized => just copy your plant to your User Library => Edit Details.

You can learn more in the User Guide => Section "To edit plant description, requirements, and growth information" (page 138).

Punch, as any program, has a learning curve. The best way to learn the program, IMO, is practice + practice + practice => Read, search and follow the User Guide (this is important) => try to create elements not related with your project, so you will become familiar with the commands and how to manage the different components.
If you are interested, my eBook for Punch V22 for Windows includes lots of tutorials about Plants and Landscaping.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the response, Patricia.
Understood about the practice but just did not realize the need to rescale the provided plant library. As you indicated, the tools are there to edit/customize so will practice now.

You don't need to rescale the library => if you need, you can customize your user library according with your location settings or otherwise, customize individual plants according your project's necessities.

Hope this helps.
