Hi, I have just bought Design Essentials v24 and have Windows 10. I can’t see how to change the cabinet color/material. The eye dropper thing doesn’t work for me, and drag and drop doesn’t work either. I have a legacy version of Punch! on an old computer and it was so easy to change color/material on everything then! I thought that things would be improved with the new product and spent the money, but I’m having all sorts of problems. Can anyone help? Thx

Hi there,

To apply colors/ materials, use the arrow tool. The dropper is just used to find the applied color / material .

In the image below, you will see what happens when you drag and drop a color / material. After you select an option, the color / material will change accordingly.

Apply materials.JPG (33kb) downloaded 3 time(s).

If you don't see this image / options. please, post a screenshot so I can visualize the problem.

To insert pictures in your post, please follow these instructions .

Hope this helps.

Wow Patricia, thank you for your fast reply. I have not made it work yet. Have tried to attach a screenshot of what happens when I select the arrow tool and then try to drag a new color. Thx

You're welcome!ThumpUp

Try this:
Go to => Edit => Preferences => System => Graphics => Hardware Acceleration. By default, the level of the accelerations is "Full" => Move the control to the center and see if your issue is solved. If not, move the control to the left (None) => check if your issue is solved.

Otherwise, perhaps there is another issue here, so you will need to submit a ticket to Punch tech support so they can check the issues in your computer (software and hardware), OS settings, etc. and also they will check your system, limitations, etc.

Hope this helps.
