When I attempt to apply window treatments, curtains or drapes, the program "wraps" the trim and doesn't put it on the window as a curtain. After I drag it in the dialog box that comes up I select "apply to both sides". I'm apparently selecting or choosing something incorrectly.

Hi there,

I see several issues in your images.

The program features several elements and they include different properties, tools and settings.
The images suggest that you are trying to apply curtains in 3D mode, as a material. Note that curtains are accessories, so you need to insert them using the Accessories tool (Floor Tab).

As you have my eBook, you can see the full instructions as well as tips on page 178 (Accessories Tool)

Hope this helps.
