Hi Patricia
I'm back! I am still having trouble print a elevation plan to scale? I have read your Training tools and tutorials, it talks about a "Elevation editor tool" but I cannot find it in my Punch Home & Landscape Design Architectural Series 22. I have been using the Sheet layout tools to print all the floor plans, and it worked great. but I have not been able to get the elevation to print to scale , or even the same size. Also I have a very detailed cross section drawn with Turbo Cad I would like to also print it with the Layout tool so it will look the same as the rest of the sheets. I tried all the ways you explain but it always ends up distorted missing parts and different colors, when the whole drawing is made black & white. Can you help me once again? Thank You

Hi Ralph,

Welcome back! BigGrin

The Elevation Editor is the set of tools present when you visualize a project in Elevation Mode (pointed with red arrow in the image below). Once your elevation / cross section is ready, you can print to scale (pointed with a blue arrow in the image below). If you print to PDF, you can save it as scaled image.

Print to scale.jpg (31kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

In my eBook Training Tools and Tutorials for V22, you will find some additional tricks on page 400 (Question 6: Can I export a scaled 3D image using the Elevation Editor?). In addition, check my Printing, Export and Import Collection

Hope this helps.

Elevation.tif (2,057kb) downloaded 4 time(s). So when I did the print to scale I got this result. Where the elevation was not placed correctly on the paper. I also could not place it into the sheet layout view, which is how I did the rest of the plan. It works real nice for positioning the floor plans.

I just hit file, print 3D view, High quality, scale 1/4 = 1ft.It goes directly to the printer preview window and that is what I see. I would like to down load your printing and export add on but have one question- will it work with 17X 22 inch paper?

You need to create the correct settings in your printer.

I do know all about printing. I have been printing all my wife's fine art Giclee for her gallery.
I will down load your Printing export and import and hopefuly it will solve my problems. Thanks again!
