Hello,
I'm new to the software and I'm trying to figure out how to create a custom pole barn wall with girts outside and inside. I'm not sure if I can create a template for the wall tool that I can draw it with or if there is another way. I was using the post tool but would like to wrap the top and bottom with 2x10 and 2x6 in between. I do have the ebook and am reading it. I didn't know if there were any specific examples of this I could see. Punch professional v25 windows. I am a novice with this right now on this topic. Also I think I may have to export this as a 3d symbol and import into the main plan and place. Any guidance with example or file would be great. Thanks again

Hi there, Thank you for purchasing the eBook! First, let's review an important concept: Punch is a Home Design Software so it doesn't include complete structural settings and components. For example, you can add Framing Beams as Components, but Pole elements must be created as 3D Objects. (See more about Special Objects on => eBook - Page 164) The image below shows a Log House I designed. I developed all the log elements using the 3D Workshop Power Tool. These elements are included in your program: Furnishing library => LogHome. There is an entire chapter about the 3D Workshop Power Tool on => eBook - Page 468 Hope this helps. |
