Version 20.0.2.1018 I am having trouble exporting the .dwg file When I export the file, it is corrupted and only has 232kb of total file information? Anyone know what is wrong?

Thanks,

James

Hi there,

I will be glad to help, but I'll need additional information

1 - Can you tell what type of corruption do you see? Do you receive an error message? Does it happen when you open the DWG file using a CAD program? Can you show a screenshot?
2 - Can you show a screenshot of the Punch file that you are trying to export? (if possible 2D and 3D)
3 - Can you provide information regarding your computer? (OS, memory, etc).

Check the post "How to Post Images in the Forum" Notice that the first option (My Albums) is not working (tech support is trying to fix it)

So it looks like the file wasn't corrupt. I am able to view it in a CAD reader program. I was under the impression that it would export the complete design file but it only exported the single layer that was currently displayed.

Of course, you can export the complete 2D design file to DWG. Before you export, you need to prepare the file with the desired parameters, layers, colors, title block, frame, etc.

In my website, check my Services page => see Drafting Services => Image DR3.

Hope this helps.
