Hello, fellow Punch users. I just purchased Punch Version 21, downloading it (last night) until my DVD comes in the mail. However, the design screen (starting with the Quick Start) has a big issue. When I try to add a room (in Quick Start), I can't see where the room went. Had to scroll all over the white screen to find the room "hidden" in the lower right corner. No control over where the room goes. SO I went on to the custom design (to just start from scratch), but it's a similar problem. The grid only shows in the lower right-hand corner, and that's the only place you can draw. Again, scrolling, zooming, trying to find the wall I just drew (and no control / visual to see how long the wall was, etc.). Anyone else having this issue? (Screenshot attached.) Thanks! Hi there,

I saw this problem before and it sounds like a hardware / configuration problem, therefore you will need to contact tech support so they can check the issues in your computer (software and hardware), OS settings, etc. and also they will check your system, limitations, etc. They are the experts for these problems.

Thank you again, Patricia. I did contact tech support (even before I posted this). Someone in the other side of the world emails me back, usually between 1:30 a.m. -4 a.m., and I always reply when I wake up. I told them the time zone I'm in, and he said (after several unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem) he'd meet me online today at 10 a.m. He had me download a program called TeamViewer, so he could remotely control my computer and figure out what's going on. And although he sent another email at 4:30 a.m. this morning (asking if I was available now -- although it was 5 1/2 hours too EARLY), I replied at 10 a.m. --- NO REPLY. I am SO frustrated!!! Any ideas? The phone number for Punch is just a recording, and says it's only for "orders", not for tech support. Is there anybody in the USA who can help?? Crying

I'd suggest that you insist and try to schedule another meeting. Let them know your exact time zone.

Yes, that's what I'm attempting. I also looked Punch up on Facebook, and sent a message. No reply yet. This is very frustrating to buy a $300 program and not be able to get good support. And yes, I already told him my exact time zone, Central Daylight Time in the USA, like Chicago. But he emailed me at 4:30 this morning (my time) and asked if I was available. Really?

UPDATE 9-17-20: It was quite a hassle getting together with the (overseas) technician to fix the problem (they'd make online appointments with me, then not show up), but FINALLY they got it fixed! Yay!

Hi All,

I checked with Tech Support and this is their answer for this issue:

Possible workaround: If the laptop is in a docking station remove it. Some computers have a USB dongle video cable. Could try it without the cable. Otherwise no workaround.
