I love the AutoSnap feature but the labels (Intersection, Endpoint, etc.) are way too small to read on my high res graphics. I have the same issue with roof elevation labels. The worst is the indicator that says "On" when selecting a wall, but it looks like a tiny dot to me. The font size stays the same even if you zoom in. Other text like roof slope, and dimensions are easy to read and you can zoom in on them.

Any way to change the size of the font for those labels?

Sorry about that and thanks for the instructions. I moved the screenshots to Flickr and updated the links. Think that will work better.

Hi there,

Go to Main Menu => Design => Options => the design menu will open (outlined in red in the image below) => 2D Options => Dimensioning & Fonts (outlined in green in the image below) => on the right you will find all the available options, so you can customize the settings.

Dimensions and fonts.jpg (79kb) downloaded 3 time(s).

More information about this topic => User's Guide => page 63.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, Patricia. I tried that and it changed dimension and other text sizes, but had no affect on the snap point labels. However, I did a little experiment and found the size of the text for the snap point lables is a function of the display resolution. I set the resolution lower and started the app, observed the size of the snap point label text then closed the app. I then repeated for increasing resolution values. Here is the result of what I found.

To solve my problem I will just just switch the display to 2560 x 1600 instead of the system default of 3840 x 2160. The labels are still small, but they are readable.

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing this information with us.

Sometimes, the computers, monitors, VCs settings are very different for each user and we can't see the settings from here Smile. However, Punch is a responsive program so it should recognize your screen settings.
So, I'd suggest that you check optimal settings for your VC, screen etc.

Hope this helps.
