Hello...I am trying to create a 3D round object within the Punch program. Could you please advise on how to do this. Thank you.

Hi there,

I will be glad to help, but I'll need more information.

1 - Do you need a flat round object (like a disc)? or a cylinder like object? or a ball like object? or just a 2D shape for the floorplan?
2 - Do you need a Punch object (like a bench) or a constructive element (like a column for example)?
3 - Can you inform the version of your Punch Professional program? (V19, or V20, etc.)

I am trying to create, or find in the library, a round (ball shape) object to be used as a finial that I will set atop a crown that sets atop a column.

Hi there,

To create a ball, you will need to develop it using the 3D Custom Workshop => Open the Power Tool => draw the desired curve => Use the Revolve Tool (page 473 of the User Guide)

An additional resource => Go to your Furnishing library => Decoration => Miscellaneous => "Globe Exotic" => insert the object => right click => 3D Custom Workshop => select and delete the parts that you don't need, keeping the globe => Save to your library (Page 438 of the User Guide).

If you are interested, in my Collection 02, there is a ball ready to use in the Edging Library.
