I never had this problem before. My first page ( foundation plan) prints perfect. The second page ( the main floor) will not center on the printed page, even though both the floors line up exactly! What could be the causes for this? Thanks Ralph

Hi Ralph,
In order to print, Punch! collects all the info in the plan, so if you have any object (even a dot) in any corner, Punch will consider it as part of the plan and will print it => in this case, this dot will modify all the page sizes and scales. You can see more tips, definitions, and images regarding this concept starting on page 335 of your V20 eBook and also, the section called "A common conflict and how to solve it" on page 336.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Patricia Yes I have had that in the past, so that is what I checked first, but it is not the case this time. Now when I tried the top floor it was off centered even more! This is a new crazy problem. Ralph

Try this: 1 - Create a rectangle (Detail tab) around the perimeter of the plan => Select the rectangle => Edit => Move to plan => Foundation => print to PDF selecting only the foundation tab. 2 - Select the rectangle => Edit => Move to plan => Floor => print to PDF selecting only the Floor tab. Please, post the 2 PDFs or screenshots so I can see the issue. How to post images

As you can see in page 1 the foundation plan is close to center of the one page. In page 2 the 1st floor plan wants to print on 2 pages instead of one. but the plan is the same size and the paper is large enough for it to fit. Page 3 the 2nd floor is out of center even more than the 1st floor plan. I have never had this happen before, and have tried everything I can to correct it! Do you have any ideas? It looks like a problem with the settings but I can't see the images. As I can't see / duplicate your settings, I'd suggest that you check this issue with tech support or print the plans to PDF. |

Page 2 first floor.zip (115kb) downloaded 1 time(s). Page 1 foundation plan.zip (112kb) downloaded 2 time(s). Page 3 second floor.zip (108kb) downloaded 3 time(s). So once again I have tried to upload pdf showing what happens when I try to print my floor plans. In the first image the plan fits on one 17" X 22" page. The second image the plan is moved down and wants to print on 2 pages. In the third image the plan is move down even more. there is no reason that I can find why this happens! I even copied each floor on to a new drawing and tried to print it again it still move the print down on to 2 pages.
