And I still think that you should export to DWG. However, if you are satisfied with the Punch results, the PDF files are very easy to to create There are lots of free PDF programs (check at www.download.com or tucows.com, for example) For instructions about how to create a PDF file in Punch, please, check this small tutorial at my website http://www.punchhelpers.com/pdfprint.html
Of course, you can use the Layout Manager, a Power Tool included in Punch
Regarding the elevations: In the elevation editor you can render clear view and change the lines color to black and the background to white
