Hello, Super Newbie on this. Have had the Essentials V20 for a week now and have found most of my answers in the help guide, but can't find anything on this.
When I try to join two walls, often they do not snap in at 90 degrees. They jump off course about 2 degrees either side and have to attempt many walls to get one to stick. Have tried every snap setting. I see the angle display in the lower left shows to tenths of a degree too. Having a hard enough time with right angles much less trying get into angles. How to set up for a 90 degree lock in?
Also, how to attach a plan for critique? (says file type not allowed)
Thank you!

Hi there, In the V20 User Guide, you will find lots of info re: Auto Snap and Laser Alignment (page 51) and 2D Drawing Methods (page 47) Tip: to draw a straight wall (no angle) => press the CRTL button in your keyboard while you are drawing the wall. To attach a Punch file => zip the file. However, when I open the file, it will adopt the settings of my program, so I won't be able to see the problem. If you need to show an issue, please, attach an image. In order to learn how to include files, please read these instructions. Hope his helps. |
